Andrea Tinsley

Assistant Director of Instructional Production

Andrea is the Assistant Director of Instructional Production, providing oversight of the Instructional Production Specialist (IPS) team, developing quality processes, and monitoring execution of all course setups to ensure they meet World Campus quality standards. She began her career at Penn State in July 2009 in an administrative support role for Counseling and Psychological Services, where she gained experience in web content management and digital media production. Andrea joined the World Campus Learning Design team in December 2015 as an IPS, becoming a supervisor for part of the IPS team in January 2019.  

Andrea obtained her associate degree in occupational therapy (2000) from Penn State Berks as well as dual bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice (2004) and behavioral science (2005) from Wilmington University. 

Andrea was born and raised in Delaware and currently resides in State College with her husband, daughter, and their cats. Andrea enjoys running, reading, movies, trips to Disney, and is a die-hard Penn State football fan (We Are!). She also volunteers as a Girl Scout troop leader and holds the titles of "Soccer Mom" and "Karate Mom."
