Joe is an instructional designer for Penn State World Campus and Penn State Altoona. He is currently the lead designer for the Agribusiness Management Program for World Campus, and is designing courses for the Entrepreneurship minor. For Penn State Altoona, he works with instructors in developing and enhancing strategies for resident and hybrid instruction, conducts faculty development events, and collaborates on campus projects. Joe is also a member of the Hybrid Learning @ Penn State team.
Prior to joining Penn State World Campus, Joe was an elementary school teacher in Virginia and Pennsylvania for nine years combined. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Walden University.
In his free time, Joe spends time with his wife, daughter, and two beagles. He also surrounds himself with music and performs on stages throughout the area.
