John Haubrick

Manager of Instructional Design

John is a manager of instructional design for Penn State World Campus Learning Design. He has worked as an instructional designer for Learning Design since 2012.

Prior to joining Penn State as an instructional designer, John taught mathematics at the secondary and post-secondary levels. He worked as a high school math teacher in the Mifflin County School District for 12 years. In addition to teaching, he served as the mathematics curriculum coordinator for the district. John is also an adjunct professor of statistics for Penn State through Continuing Education. John earned his bachelor of science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Juniata College. He has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Penn State and retains a K-12 principal’s certification.

John lives in Lewistown with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching football, hunting, and fishing.
