Kate Morgan

Instructional Designer

Kate Morgan is an instructional designer for the Penn State World Campus Business Program. Prior to joining the World Campus, she worked at Penn State Lehigh Valley for 21 years in various roles, including graphic designer, Director of University Relations, and ultimately Director of Virtual Education. She has focused a lot of her energy on integrating new technologies, including immersive reality and 3D printing, into face-to-face and online learning, and she has taught classes in both modalities for the past 10 years. She holds a master’s degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design in interactive design and game development.

Kate is from the Lehigh Valley, but she and her husband, Mike, are Air Force veterans and have lived overseas and in various states during their military duty. At the end of 2020, they relocated to an Air Force base in Mississippi. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She looks at life as a series of opportunities and doesn’t want to miss anything!
