John Buckwalter

Multimedia Specialist

John is a multimedia specialist, creating graphics and animations, shooting and editing video, and designing solutions for multimedia projects. Prior to joining the multimedia specialist team, John worked as an IT support specialist within Learning Design, supporting the staff with technology issues. He also previously worked as an instructional production specialist where he supported various programs and courses, including the BSB, MPM, IST, and MFIN programs.

Before John became a part of the Learning Design staff, he was a sales associate/web designer for Rapid Transit Sports in State College, creating the store’s first website. He earned his Webmaster Certification from Florida State, an associate degree in Graphic Design from Penn College in Williamsport, PA, and an associate degree in Business Management from South Hills Business School in State College, PA. When not engaged with professional endeavors, you can find him playing sports, relaxing with friends and family, or going for a run, bike ride, or trip down the slopes.
